A painting of Queen Margrethe II, the former monarch of Denmark, will be put up for auction.
A prolific artist, the 83-year-old queen’s work has been featured in various exhibitions, but opportunities to purchase her paintings are rare, according to a statement released Tuesday by the Bruun Rasmussen auction house. .
