Wales national team manager Rob Page says he will discuss the possibility of inviting Tom Lockyer to camp ahead of next month’s crucial Euro 2024 play-offs against Finland.
The Luton centre-back featured in the Dragons’ Euro qualifier against Turkey in November, but suffered a cardiac arrest against Bournemouth on December 16.
Lockyer was reunited with his Luton team-mates on January 29, making his first visit to the club’s Braasch training ground since collapsing on the pitch and spending five days in hospital.

Page admitted he welcomed a return to the training ground as he had been “disconnected” during his time out, but suggested he could now be given the chance to link up with the national team.
Asked if he would be invited to Wales’ camp for the game against Finland, Page told the PA news agency: “Yes. Rocks is part of the team and part of the family. We’ll have to talk about it, but Rox will always be part of our team. ”
Page believes Aaron Ramsey can play a big role for Wales against Finland. If Wales win, they will face a one-off home match against Poland or Estonia for a place in Germany.

Ramsey recently returned to club action with Cardiff after being sidelined for five months with a knee injury, with Page saying: “Rambo did it against Hungary in the Euro 2020 play-offs. A big player in a big game. will always show up, and he definitely will.” It fits into that category.
