Investing.com – Danish stocks rose after the close on Wednesday, with gains in the and sector.

At the Copenhagen close, the stock rose 1.34%, hitting a new record high.

The best performer of the session was Novozymes A/SB (CSE:), rising 3.30% or 11.70 points to close at 366.10. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CSE:) added his 2.64% (22.60 points) to end at 878.60. novo nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:) rose 1.75% (14.60 points) to 846.90 in late trade.

The worst performer in the session was danske bank A/S (CSE:) fell 0.89% or 1.75 points to close at 194.30. Carlsberg A/SB (CSE:) fell 0.62% (5.80 points) to end at 930.00 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:) fell 0.57% (6.50 points) to end at 1,137.00.

On the Copenhagen Stock Exchange, advancing issues outnumbered declining issues 86 to 58, with 16 issues ending unchanged.

The Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:) share price has risen to an all-time high. Up 1.75% (14.60) to 846.90.

Crude oil for March delivery fell 0.62% ($0.48) to $77.39 per barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent crude oil for April delivery fell 0.51% (0.42%) to $82.35 per barrel, while April gold futures fell 0.14% ($2.80) per troy ounce. It was traded at $2,004.40.

USD/DKK fell by 0.17% to 6.95, while EUR/DKK remained unchanged by 0.01% at 7.45.

Dollar index futures fell 0.21% to 104.63.
