Niall May takes on the role of Managing Partner of RSM Ireland

Nile May took on the role of managing partner of RSM Ireland,success John Glennonone of the company’s founding partners.

Mr. Glennon will remain with the company as head of strategy and director.

In November 2023, RSM UK acquired ownership of the RSM business in Ireland from John Glennon, Aidan Byrne, Catherine Corcoran Gearty and Niall May.

RSM Ireland is Ireland’s eighth largest accounting and advisory firm, with 200 employees.

The company, founded in 1987, said sales last year increased by 19% and the number of employees increased by 21%.

Mr. May has been a Partner and Head of Audit at RSM Ireland for approximately 10 years and has over 25 years’ experience in professional services.

“RSM Ireland has evolved and grown significantly as a company since I joined 10 years ago. Our recent strategic investment from RSM UK will accelerate our growth plans for the future. “Yes,” May said.

“I am delighted to be taking over as Managing Partner as we embark on this exciting phase for the company.

“We are confident that our increasingly diversified service offering and global vision, backed by local knowledge, will strengthen our market position and provide an attractive option for business leaders. ”

John Glennon commented: “Despite all the challenges and uncertainties brought on by global events in recent years, and as a result of our client-focused approach, RSM Ireland has continued to grow and diversify.

“After almost 40 years at the helm, I am delighted to be handing over the leadership to Niall May, who has been an integral part of our growth journey.

RSM Ireland remains an independent member firm of RSM International, with global revenues of $9.4 billion in 2023, record year-on-year revenue growth of 16%, and global headcount growth of 13%.
