Ireland’s men have qualified for the first-ever world championship relay relay at the World Aquatics Championships in Doha.
The 4x100m medley quartet of Conor Ferguson (backstroke), Darragh Green (breaststroke), Max McCusker (butterfly) and Shane Ryan (freestyle) finished their heat in 8th place with a time of 3:34.97. finished.

Meanwhile, the women’s team has secured an Olympic spot and is expected to become Ireland’s first women’s relay team at an Olympic Games since 1972.
