Irish Daniel Wiffen On the final day of competition in Doha, he won the gold medal in 14:34.07, making him the fifth-fastest time in men’s 1500 freestyle history. Wiffen led for much of the remaining race of tonight’s final and went on to win by more than 10 seconds.
