Ireland Baldwin has a healthy outlook when it comes to her post-baby body.
Ireland, a mother of one, wrote in an Instagram post on February 20th: “It’s been 9 months postpartum and I’m still a long way from where I want to be, but I overcame the challenges and finally found the time to get this butt in shape.” ” she captioned it. In four different photos, her models wear bras and underwear and make funny faces and poses.
“I don’t necessarily need to exercise every day, but I’m making progress toward being more consistent,” she wrote. She wrote, “Walk more, move more. I just wanted to make a post in solidarity with those who are struggling to find the inspiration to change bad habits/work on themselves.”
“There are still days when I eat an entire box of Girl Scout cookies for dinner, and that’s OK!” Ireland said. It took me 7-9 months to even start losing weight and caring for the baby…and anyone who paces themselves or feels bad about not being good enough is the worst. This is difficult. Be kind to yourself. “
In May 2023, Ireland and her partner Andre Allen Anjos (musician known as RAC) welcomed their first child, a daughter, Holland. The Irishman’s parents are former couple Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin, who is currently married to Hilaria Baldwin.
That same month, Ireland said in an Instagram post (which was eventually deleted) that she felt anxious during her pregnancy.
“Like many of us, I really struggled during my pregnancy,” she wrote. “It’s not just throwing up everywhere. It’s hard to miss. As someone who suffers greatly from health anxiety, pregnancy turned everything into overdrive.”
She also asked, “Was my shower too hot?” Did I cry too much? why am i crying again? Do my feet look swollen? Can I be a good mother too? ”
Ireland said that when her daughter was born, she had a newfound respect for her body and all of its capabilities.
“Since she arrived, a sense of calm has washed over me, which in turn made me feel rested,” she wrote in the post. “My breasts have changed, but I finally have the ‘Pam Anderson’ I’ve always wanted. It’s just a little floppy. My body created life. It’s the brain! ! heart. Little feet! My body is magic. ”
Ireland said she wants to show other expectant mothers that raising children is a wonderful thing.
“Don’t let people tell you what’s going to happen,” she wrote. “Life is scary and unpredictable and this process has been scary, but this is the best thing I’ve ever done and will ever do. Don’t let people scare you. .”
