It’s true that a single photo can cause chaos in the Eurovision community. In fact, just one week before the UMK 2024 artist announcement, leaked photos sparked interest this weekend.
The photo, which has since gone viral online, depicts the schedule for the UMK finals. The document is in English, which is no wonder. The UMK production team has expanded in recent years to include non-Finnish people, writing the documentation in English to make it more inclusive and accessible to non-Finnish speakers.
According to this document: Kaliya and erika vikman(UMK 2020) will open the show, but the rest of the list has everyone’s attention.

Detailed schedule of artist announcements
of candidate The content of UMK 2024 will be revealed during the broadcast on Wednesday, January 10th at 19:00 CET. Yell TV1, Eel Arena and UMK’s YouTube channel. The broadcast will also include commentary in English as well as Finnish and Swedish for viewers around the world.

UMK 2024 will consist of the finals; Saturday, February 10th 20:00 Central European Time.
Last year’s UMK winner, and therefore the country’s representative in Liverpool, Kaliya with his song”Cha cha cha”. Kaliya finished second, giving her country the best result since Lodi’s victory in 2006.
