Chennai: Denmark announced the Green Fuels Alliance India (GFAI) initiative, with the aim of strengthening cooperative efforts between the two countries in the field of sustainable energy solutions and advancing the joint global goal towards carbon neutrality.

The new partnership, led by the Embassy of Denmark and the Consulate General of Denmark in India, will advance the green fuel sector, including green hydrogen, by fostering innovation, cooperation and partnership between Danish industry and Danish industry. Nine pioneering Danish organizations have already joined the GFAI initiative as founding members, including Maersk, Topsoe, Umwelt Energy, Mash Makes, European Sustainable Solutions, Novozymes, Danfoss and Brdr. Maersk’s 2040 net zero ambitions

Maersk has set net-zero greenhouse gas emissions targets by 2040 across its operations, and has also set specific and ambitious short-term targets for 2030 to ensure significant progress. Masu.
