Ulster manager Dan McFarland has called on winger Jacob Stockdale to continue his try-scoring record if he is to aim for Andy Farrell’s Six Nations squad.
Stockdale has scored six tries in Ulster’s last 10 games, including one in Ulster’s final game on New Year’s Day, the win over Leinster at the RDS.
The 27-year-old has scored 19 tries in 37 caps for Ireland, but did not play in last season’s Grand Slam title and missed out on the World Cup.
With the back three of Mack Hansen and Jimmy O’Brien ruled out of the Six Nations due to injury, Stockdale will play against French giants Toulouse on Saturday night and will be in good shape for the national team before Farrell announces his squad next week. “Jacob repeating what he does well and repeating it will only help him,” McFarland said.
