Investing.com – Danish shares rose after the close on Tuesday, led by gains in and sectors.

It rose 0.22% at the Copenhagen close.

The best performer of the session was AP Moller-Maersk A/SB (CSE:), rising 1.67% or 220.00 points to close at 13,355.00. Meanwhile, Anbu A/S (CSE:) added 1.17% (1.35 points) to close at 116.20, while AP Moller-Maersk A/SA (CSE:) gained 1.16% (150.00 points) in late trade. It ended at 13,070.00.

The worst performer of the session was Ørsted AS (CSE:), down 2.33% (9.20 points) to close at 385.60. GN Storenold (CSE:) fell by 2.01% (3.65 points) to end at 178.00. Yusuke Bank A/S (CSE:) fell 1.95% (10.40 points) to 523.40.

Declining issues outnumbered advancing issues on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by a 93-57 margin, with 16 issues ending unchanged.

Ambu A/S (CSE:) stock rises to a new 52-week high. Up 1.17% (1.35) to 116.20.

Crude oil for March delivery fell 0.36% ($0.26) to $72.53 per barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent crude for March delivery rose 0.17%, or 0.13, to $78.28 per barrel, while February gold futures fell 0.55%, or $11.35, to $78.28 per troy ounce. It traded for $2,040.25.

USD/DKK rose 0.57% to 6.85, while EUR/DKK remained 0.00% unchanged at 7.46.

Dollar index futures rose 0.75% to 102.92.
