“Both CMB and Itinera, the construction companies leading the Odense Hospital project team, invested in TokenMe and other technologies because they recognized the value,” said Arold Tegon, project manager for the new Odense University Hospital construction project. TokenMe’s real-time data is useful.” It reduces risks, monitors environmental factors, and supports decision-making processes. ”
Brian Termoli, risk manager for the Odense Hospital project team, added: “Large construction sites come with additional risks due to their size.” “TokenMe’s smart construction monitoring has enabled him to track 1,000 workers spread across 22 kilometers of corridors. The system will be implemented in early 2023 and will be trained on GDPR compliance and functionality. The workers are comfortable using it because of the safety precautions they receive.”
How TokenMe works
TokenMe uses radio tags and sensor technology to monitor “boots on the ground” and uses UWB, LoRa, WiFi, and BLE technology to improve construction site safety. Construction workers wear smart badges or helmet tags (tokens) and transmit anonymous data to battery-powered mobile anchors placed at strategic locations throughout the site. Anchor sends information such as employee presence, movement, temperature, humidity, loud noises, air quality, and light intensity to his TokenMe database (cloud or on-premises). There, data is processed using AI and rules to provide meaningful, real-world data. Time insights and predictions about construction workflows and building conditions.
TokenMe dashboards visualize data as graphs, lists, and maps, providing an overview of task execution, material and equipment location, real-time presence of personnel, progress tracking and forecasting. Falls are one of the most dangerous causes of fatal accidents. TokenMe uses fall detection and a “call for help” button to generate warnings and critical alarms. Easy-to-install solutions significantly improve safety, reduce delays and reduce project costs.
TokenMe’s monthly subscription model allows for rapid deployment with low capital investment.
“The construction industry operates on tight schedules, and most project management tools fail to provide real-time visibility into subcontractor activity or consistent progress reporting,” he said. Hans van Leeuwen, CEO and Founder of TokenMe. “Instead of weekly or monthly timesheet reports, TokenMe provides real-time employee count and location, enabling proactive and predictive planning for thousands of employees and assets. We are very proud to be a 2023 Innovation Award winner and look forward to the presentation. Our CES booth will bring the next generation of AI-powered TokenMe to industry leaders.”
