The Wicklow rockers, also known as ‘The Misplaced Irish Princess’, have taken the music scene by storm in 2023, featuring their fourth consecutive release on BBC Radio 1.
She’s no stranger to the stage, having graced festivals such as Electric Picnic and recently had a sold-out headline show at Workman’s Cellar in Dublin.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the track, Ailsha said: “We wanted to create a banger track that incorporated our own alternative sound with a twist, using recognizable Irish phrases sprinkled throughout the song.”
“As a child, my family sometimes worked in Dingle, where I would visit my neighbors for tea every day after school and learn conversational Irish. I fell in love with the language. and earned a degree in Fein language in junior high school.
“But as I grew up, I felt like my Irish gradually faded away and I only remembered a few phrases. In Ireland, I feel like I don’t use my native language enough. , which is a shame because it’s great.

A total of six songs were selected for Eurosong 2024 from hundreds of submissions received by RTÉ following last year’s open call.
