Aspocomp Group Plc, Internal Information, February 16, 2024, 8:45am (Finland Time)
Aspocomp Group Plc has concluded transfer negotiations for all of its employees in Finland (approximately 150 people) that began on January 4, 2024. Change negotiations under the Cooperation Act were initiated to improve the company’s profitability and competitiveness, as well as to ensure its future ability to operate in a downturn in the market.
At the start of negotiations, it was estimated that the planned measures would result in temporary job cuts, with up to five additional jobs potentially being made redundant. As a result of negotiations, two employees will be fired. The company’s redundancy authorization applies to 40 people. Depending on the company’s financial and production conditions, personnel reductions may be implemented for the time being. The workforce reductions are being implemented to allow the company to maintain production and operating capacity, meet current production demands and maintain the ability to fulfill new customer orders.
