London indie rock band Bombay Bicycle Club today announced their new EP, just three weeks before the start of their 2024 UK and Ireland tour.
The upcoming Bombay & Friends EP, fantasyReleased on February 23, it features collaborations with Lucy Rose, Ray Morris, Liz Lawrence and Matilda Mann. The first track of the EP dropped today.
‘Fantasneeze’, featuring Matilda Mann, is currently streaming and was the first song written for the EP. The band said of the song: “When we decided to hold off on releasing ‘Fantasneeze’ on its own after the album, we continued to work on it and completed the other three songs in short order. We consider this a Bombay & Friends release. This song has some of the best friends of the band singing on it.”
The new release follows the band’s sixth album, My Big Day, which debuted at number 3 on the Official UK Albums Chart. The album features collaborations with Chaka Khan, Damon Albarn, Jay Som, Nilufer Janya and Holly Humberstone, and was produced by frontman Jack Steadman.
Fantasy EP will be released digitally on February 23rd, but the physical release of the EP will be limited to 2,500 10-inch records and will be distributed through upcoming headline shows, the band’s website, and a small number of independent record stores. Available. . The EP is printed on Ecomix vinyl, a sustainable material made from recycled off-cuts from other presses. It is also packaged in an eco-friendly sleeve and shrink wrap.

Bombay Bicycle Club will perform at Belfast’s Telegraph Building on 29th January 2024, and 3 Olympia Theater on 30th and 31st 2024. His three shows in Ireland kick off the indie outfit’s return to the live circuit, along with an extensive headline tour across the UK, Ireland and North America.
