Investing.com – Danish stocks rose after the close on Wednesday, with gains in the and sector.

At the Copenhagen close, the stock rose 1.12%, hitting a new record high.

The best performers in the session are: pandora A/S (CSE:) rose 2.21% or 21.60 points to close at 998.20. meanwhile, novo nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:) added 2.05% or 14.80 points to end at 737.90 and Tryg A/S (CSE:) added 0.87% or 1.25 points to end at 145.60 in late trade.

The worst performer of the session was Anbu A/S (CSE:), which fell 2.47% (2.60 points) to close at 102.80. Rockwool International B (CSE:) fell 2.33% or 45.00 points to end at 1,890.00 and AP Moller-Maersk A/SB (CSE:) fell 2.00% or 265.00 points to end at 12,955.00.

On the Copenhagen Stock Exchange, advancing issues outnumbered declining issues 79 to 63, with 17 issues ending unchanged.

Pandora A/S (CSE:) stock rises to a five-year high. Up 2.21% (21.60) to 998.20. The Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:) share price has risen to an all-time high. It rose 2.05% (14.80) to 737.90.

Crude oil for February delivery fell 0.04% (0.03%) to $72.21 per barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent crude oil for March delivery fell 0.22% (0.17%) to $77.42 per barrel, while February gold futures fell 0.07% ($1.45) per troy ounce. It traded for $2,031.55 per unit.

USD/DKK fell by 0.25% to 6.80, while EUR/DKK remained unchanged by 0.00% at 7.46.

Dollar index futures fell 0.11% to 102.17.
