Investing.com – Danish stocks rose after the close on Friday, with gains in and sectors.

At the Copenhagen close, the stock rose 0.02%, hitting a new record high.

The best performer of the session was AP Moller – Maersk A/SB (CSE:), rising 1.34% or 160.00 points to close at 12,140.00. Meanwhile, AP Moller-Maersk A/SA (CSE:) added 1.27% (150.00 points) to close at 11,980.00, while Ambu A/S (CSE:) gained 0.67% (0.70 points) in late trade. It ended at 105.20.

The worst performer of the session was GN Store Nord (CSE:), which fell 0.98% (1.70 points) to close at 171.80. Carlsberg A/SB (CSE:) fell 0.52% (4.40 points) to end at 846.80, and Ørsted AS (CSE:) fell 0.43% (1.60 points) to end at 374.30.

On the Copenhagen Stock Exchange, advancing issues outnumbered declining issues 76 to 71, with 20 issues ending unchanged.

Crude oil for February delivery rose 0.59% (0.42%) to $72.19 per barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent crude for March delivery rose 0.61%, or 0.47, to $77.62 per barrel, while February gold futures fell 0.45%, or $9.45, to $77.62 per troy ounce. It traded for $2,074.05.

USD/DKK rose by 0.07% to 6.74, while EUR/DKK remained unchanged by 0.01% at 7.45.

Dollar index futures rose 0.01% to 100.92.
