Investing.com – Danish stocks rose after the close on Wednesday, with gains in the and sector.

It rose 0.28% at the Copenhagen close.

The best performers in the session are: Yusuke Bank A/S (CSE:) rose 2.28% or 11.80 points to close at 529.60. meanwhile, pandora A/S (CSE:) added 1.67% or 16.20 points to end at 989.00. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:) rose 1.53% or 2.96 points to 196.50 in late trading.

The worst performer of the session was AP Moller – Maersk A/SB (CSE:), down 2.30% (305.00 points) to close at 12,975.00. DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:) fell 1.96% or 24.50 points to end at 1,228.50 and AP Moller-Maersk A/SA (CSE:) fell 1.85% or 240.00 points to end at 12,750.00.

On the Copenhagen Stock Exchange, advancing issues outnumbered declining issues 86 to 57, with 18 issues ending unchanged.

Crude oil for March delivery rose 1.30% (0.97%) to $75.34 per barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent crude oil for March delivery rose 0.89% or $0.71 to $80.26 per barrel, while February gold futures fell 0.53% or $10.75 per troy ounce. It traded for $2,015.05 per dollar.

USD/DKK fell by 0.42% to 6.84, while EUR/DKK was unchanged by 0.00% at 7.46.

Dollar index futures fell 0.51% to 102.87.
