Investing.com – Danish shares rose after the close on Tuesday, led by gains in and sectors.

At the Copenhagen close, the stock rose 0.46%, hitting a new record high.

The best performer of the session was Demant A/S (CSE:), rising 8.87% (28.30 points) to close at 347.40. Meanwhile, AP Moller – Maersk A/SB (CSE:) added 3.00% or 375.00 points to close at 12,890.00, while in late trade AP Moller – Maersk A/SA (CSE:) rose 2.26% or 280.00 points. and ended at 12,670.00.

The worst performer in the session was danske bank A/S (CSE:) fell 2.36% or 4.70 points to close at 194.70. Novozymes A/SB (CSE:) fell 1.80% or 6.50 points to end at 354.00 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:) fell 1.06% or 13.00 points to end at 1,211.50.

On the Copenhagen Stock Exchange, advancing issues outnumbered declining issues 85 to 63, with 14 issues ending unchanged.

Demant A/S (CSE:) stock rises to a 52-week high. It increased by 8.87% or 28.30 to 347.40.

Crude oil for March delivery rose 0.77% ($0.56) to $73.34 per barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent crude oil for April delivery rose 0.78% (0.61%) to $78.60 per barrel and gold futures for April rose 0.51% ($10.35) to $2,053.25 per troy ounce. traded in dollars.

USD/DKK remained unchanged by 0.02% at 6.94, and EUR/DKK remained unchanged by 0.02% at 7.46.

Dollar index futures fell 0.19% to 104.12.
