Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has officially confirmed that her country has decided to hand over all artillery to the military.
Ukraine will receive all Danish artillery
Mette Frederiksen made this statement in a speech at the 7th Ukraine Lunch in Munich.
She said discussions at the Munich Security Conference said little about the importance of the weapons Ukraine currently needs.
Denmark’s prime minister noted that European leaders often cite weapons production issues as an obstacle to increasing supplies and are currently building new defense companies for the future.
In her opinion, the European Union must ultimately take responsibility for itself and its security, regardless of what is currently happening in the United States.
Ukraine and Denmark agree to start ‘security’ negotiations
On January 26, it was officially announced that Ukraine and Denmark had officially agreed to start negotiations for a security agreement within the framework of the Vilnius Declaration.
He said “concrete ways in which Denmark can help Ukraine regain control of its entire territory” are already being discussed.
