“Ukraine is now asking for ammunition and artillery. We, Denmark, have decided to provide all our artillery to Ukraine,” Frederiksen said.

“Europe has military equipment. It’s not just a matter of production,” she added.

He also called on European countries to provide ammunition and air defense systems to the Ukrainian military, as Ukraine needs more ammunition and air defense systems.

The minister also pointed out that European countries do not need to wait for the crisis to be resolved before approving funding for goods from the United States to Ukraine.

“It doesn’t matter what the United States comes up with, we Europeans have to protect ourselves. This is a war on the European continent,” Frederiksen said.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy accused the partners of creating an artificial shortage of weapons in Ukraine, especially artillery and long-range weapons, allowing Russia to adapt to the intensity of the fighting.
