Speaking at the Munich Ukraine Lunch on Saturday, February 17, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said that Denmark would transfer artillery and ammunition to Ukraine.
“It doesn’t matter what America says. We Europeans have to protect ourselves. This is a war on the European continent. To do that, we have to give Ukraine what it needs now. I think it’s very important.”Of course, in the long run…Ukraine now wants ammunition, artillery. We, Denmark, decided to donate all our artillery to Ukraine. Sorry, but the problem isn’t just production. “We still have European military equipment, but it needs to be transferred to Ukraine,” the prime minister said.
According to her, if Russia does not want peace, European countries “have to protect themselves.”
Frederiksen said that no matter what happens in the United States, Europe must be responsible to Europe.
