The first day of the event kicked off with “The Table, The Tree,” a dynamic event that fuses showcase maker fashion and design with contemporary music and energetic Irish dance.
The piece was styled by Aisling Farinella and is inspired by the relationship between materials and products, championing manufacturers and sustainable practices.
Additionally, our digital marketplace, Showcase Connect, was also a success. Using this platform, registered trade buyers were able to browse products and interact with exhibitors. This platform allows buyers to “favorite” products, send instant messages and set up one-on-one meetings with exhibitors.
Showcase was established in 1976 by Design & Crafts Council Ireland with support from Enterprise Ireland.
