Dropkick Murphys are scheduled to perform in Ireland this summer. The Boston Celtic punk band will play a show at Dublin’s Ivy Gardens on July 7th.
The much-anticipated concert will see the Boston band perform hits such as “Shipping Up to Boston” for their Irish fans.
After releasing two acoustic studio albums, This Machine Still Kills Fascist and Okema Rising, in 2022 and 2023, Dropkick Murphys recently released their famous full-electric release. – Returned to the set. The band’s only original member remains Ken Casey.
He will co-star with Tim Brennan, Jeff DaRosa, Matt Kelly, James Lynch and Kevin Law.
The Dropkick Murphys attempted their first-ever acoustic reserved-seating theater tour in 2022, and will return to their typical high-energy, crowd-driven show format this summer.
The band hails from Boston and developed their sound within the vibrant Irish music scene. They drew inspiration from a variety of genres and brought Celtic punk to the world in the late 1990s. The Celtic punk band is especially known for its St. Patrick’s Day performances.
The band is beloved in its home city, especially by many Irish Americans who love their unique Celtic sound.
