Early voting for the 2nd South African Finnish presidential election in 2024

Early voting stations abroad will be located at Finland’s diplomatic and consular offices or their offices in 89 countries. A total of 220 advance voting stations will be opened overseas.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is responsible for organizing advance voting in Finnish diplomatic missions abroad and on board Finnish ships sailing outside Finnish territory during the advance voting period.

The Ministry of Justice has overall responsibility for conducting elections. The list of advance voting stations and their opening hours are published on the Electionsfinland.fi website.

Voters can also vote in the presidential election by mail from overseas. If you are eligible to vote and wish to vote by mail, you must order your mail-in voting documents to your overseas address. You must order your first and second presidential election voting documents at the same time. Information about dates, instructions and order forms for postal voting documents is available at vaalit.fi.
