The Embassy of Finland in Ukraine reported this.
The Finnish charity Pro Patria Suomi Ukraine Rai has donated six modern ambulances to Ukraine with support from the Lions Club and cooperation from the Dobrobut Foundation.
The vehicle is equipped with all the necessary equipment to save the lives of civilians and soldiers in eastern Ukraine.
The vehicle is fully equipped with defibrillators, ventilators, stretchers and oxygen tanks.
This ambulance is based on a civilian Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van and, with its specified equipment, can not only transport seriously injured people, but also provide the necessary assistance during transport.
In addition to the ambulance with equipment worth 150,000 euros, Ukraine also received 400 kg of humanitarian aid from its Finnish partner.
These vehicles will be delivered to medical institutions in eastern Ukraine that are most in need of the latest life-saving equipment.
Militarny previously reported that Japan has donated the latest medical equipment to Ukraine’s military medical institutions.
This was made possible with the cooperation of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) and the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine.
In particular, the National Military Medical Clinical Center “Major Military Clinical Hospital” has installed the latest CANON Aplio i700 ultrasound diagnostic system.
The Ministry of Defense said a total of five cutting-edge medical equipment were transferred under the project.
