Finland sends 22nd military aid package to Ukraine | Eel News

According to Defense Minister Antti Häkkanen (NCP), Finland is looking for long-term ways to support Ukraine.

The Finnish Ministry of Defense announced on Friday that it will send Ukraine its 22nd military aid package.

The ministry said in a press release that the policy will cost Finland around 190 million euros. This shipment brings the total defense aid package sent by Finland to Ukraine to around 1.8 billion euros.

He noted that one such area being considered is domestic ammunition production.

Hakkanen also said that Finland also participated in shelling and demining operations by the Ukrainian Defense Liaison Group.

The group is a coalition of dozens of countries aimed at helping Ukraine defend against Russian aggression.

As with past aid shipments, the ministry did not disclose the contents, delivery method or shipping schedule of the latest aid shipments, for operational reasons and to ensure safe delivery.
