Will Windows95man sing at Eurovision 2024? Yes.
Finnish broadcaster Ale confirmed the news on Tuesday, two weeks after the viral artist won the Finnish national competition Uden Mushkin Kirpile earlier this month.
Previously, Windows95 Man (real name Teemu Keisteri) and his singing collaborator Henri Pispanen said they would have to consider whether to participate.

Back in January, more than 1,400 songwriters, producers and artists from the Finnish music industry signed a petition calling on the EBU to exclude Israel from Eurovision over alleged war crimes in Gaza. They added that if Israel were to participate, they would like Finnish broadcaster Ale to withdraw.
Eel have now confirmed they will not be withdrawing.
Ville Viren, Director and Editor-in-Chief of Creative Content and Media at Yle said: “Yle has decided to respect the decision of the European Broadcasting Union EBU against television companies participating in the competition. We understand that there are different legitimate points of view on this issue. Yle He informed the EBU about the discussions in Finland and the Finnish representative’s views on the situation. We hope that the situation in the Middle East will be resolved as soon as possible.”
Teemu Keistelli and Henri Pispanen said: “We believe that the only correct decision for the EBU is to exclude Israel from the competition. However, we do not believe that withdrawing ourselves will have an impact. Instead, we will collectively We have begun discussions with other delegates on how to leverage our influence and use our position to put pressure on EBU decision-makers. But now the decision has been made. Thank you to everyone for your support. We will now focus on the music and building the show.”
