Karen Vincent has been promoted to general manager warner music denmark.
She will be based in Copenhagen and will report to Mark Frey, president of Warner Music Nordiques.
Vincent has been Marketing Director at Warner Music Denmark since 2017, working on campaigns for local artists such as Christopher, Drew Sycamore, Gobs, LOC and Niklas Saar. Her team has also supported the releases of some of Warner Music’s biggest international stars, including Bruno Her Mars. dua lipa And Ed Sheeran.
Prior to working at Warner Music, he was a senior product manager at indie label Copenhagen Records, where he worked on campaigns for artists such as Alex Vargas, De Eneste Tor, Nick & Jay, and Stein Bramsen. At the same time, she also acted as a worldwide publicist for her band Volbeat, a Danish rock band signed to Universal Music.
She has been in the music industry for over 25 years, starting as an assistant at Sony Music, then working in marketing and promotion at EMI Music, before joining Copenhagen Records in 2013.
She is an integral part of the team, creating amazing campaigns for local, regional and international artists.

Vincent is also the co-founder of SheCanPlay, a group dedicated to ensuring more female representation on radio, the charts and the live stage. The group provides advice and connects young women and sexual minority artists with industry professionals. The SheCanPlay initiative is part of the Danish Ministry of Culture’s current music action plan.
