England and the Republic of Ireland will face off in Group B2 of the 2024-25 Nations League.
The two sides have not faced each other in an official match since 1991, but have played three friendly matches since 2013.
The two countries will also face Finland and Greece in the early stages of the tournament, which begins in September this year.
England defeated the Republic of Ireland 3-0 in a friendly at Wembley in November 2020, but were relegated from League A in September 2022.
England have not faced Finland since a 2-1 World Cup qualifying win in March 2001, but last played against Greece in a friendly in August 2006.
Scotland will be playing in League A for the first time since promotion, and will face Croatia, Poland and 2019 champions Portugal in Group A1.
Wales are in League B and were drawn alongside Iceland, Montenegro and Turkey in Group B4.
Northern Ireland were placed in Group C3 along with Luxembourg, Belarus and Bulgaria.
Nations League holders Spain, who won the tournament in 2023, will face Denmark, Switzerland and Serbia in Group A4.
