Open Call: Curation Concept for the Finland Pavilion at the 2025 Venice Biennale of Architecture
The Finland Pavilion is inviting applications for curatorial concepts for exhibition at the 19th Venice Biennale International Architecture Exhibition.
We welcome a wide range of proposals such as the ones below.
– Arising from current issues facing the future
– Relevant to Finnish architecture, yet resonates with a wide audience around the world
– Reflects the ways in which architecture can support human and/or non-human inclusivity, well-being, sustainability and diversity.
Archinfo – Finnish Architectural Information Center has been appointed Commissioner by the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture and is looking for a curator with an original concept related to Finnish architecture and appealing to a worldwide audience. Curators may have a background in architecture, design, art curation, or research and writing.
The selected curators have thought-provoking and original curatorial concepts to develop into viable exhibitions at the Finland Pavilion. We welcome applicants from all nationalities and cultural backgrounds who have a good understanding of the Finnish architectural phenomenon and a strong connection to the Finnish architectural scene. Although we encourage individual curators to submit proposals, we can also accept proposals from curatorial teams.
