Frederiksen said European leaders often cited production issues as an impediment to increasing supply and were now setting up new defense companies to look to the future.
“But Ukraine is now asking for ammunition and artillery,” she added.

Frederiksen also said that regardless of what is currently happening in the United States, Europe must take responsibility for its security: “We need to do more.”
Since December, the United States has faced challenges in providing regular aid packages to Ukraine.
The Senate recently introduced a foreign aid bill that includes $60 billion for Ukraine. Still, Republicans in Congress refused to approve additional funding and postponed the session until the end of February, citing the announced holidays.
