Rent ‘Park A Pub’ and join the party while enjoying the Irish atmosphere

Must read

Havertown, Pennsylvania — Before John Chambers started driving around town with a miniature Irish pub in tow, he lived in a small town in County Mayo, Ireland.

“We have about 10 kids in a two- or three-bedroom house with no electricity or running water,” Chambers said. “We lived in the countryside, deep in the mountains. We were like shepherds over there.”

Mr Chambers was visiting family in Ireland when he met his wife Maureen at a pub.

She convinced him to immigrate to the United States and the rest was history.

Chambers, a father of two, worked for a carpenter’s union before working on his own projects on his own.

He heard about the concept of mobile pubs emerging in Ireland and decided to use his skills to build a mobile pub for the Philadelphia area.

You can now rent out “Park A Pub” for your next party.

“This work shows people how we lived in Ireland,” Chambers said. “So this is a taste of Ireland outside their home.”

The pub is BYOB. This means renters must provide their own drinks.

But the Chambers family are concerned about creating the perfect atmosphere for their pub.

This includes everything from seriously decorating the exterior of your pub to connecting kegs to taps.

“Especially on a day like today when you see everyone having fun and having a good time, it just makes it worth it,” Chambers said.
