As a Level Designer, you will play an integral role in creating challenging and engaging combat environments, optimizing level layouts, and utilizing industry standard tools for level design. By collaborating with a diverse team of game designers and programmers, we ensure seamless integration of mechanics and systems from prototyping to implementation.
In addition to your design responsibilities, you will also assume a leadership role in guiding other level designers to adopt best practices related to level/combat design.

• Develop complex combat environments that challenge player skills and increase immersion.
• Optimize level layouts for balanced and memorable combat scenarios.
• Utilize industry standard tools to design, build, and script levels.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure mechanisms and systems are properly implemented.
• Work with the content team to ensure level playability and consistency of graphical elements.
• Own the player experience within your level and advocate for excellence within your team.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive level of documentation for a wide range of teams.
• Conduct thorough playtesting, reviews, and iterations to improve the player experience.
• Efficiently manage and prioritize tasks and bug lists to streamline the development process.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of relevant experience in level design. A strong AAA portfolio to showcase your work.
• Passion and expertise in creating levels with a focus on combat scenarios for PC/console action-adventure games.
• Proficient in 3D level editor and game visual scripting.
• Hands-on experience with a variety of proprietary game engines.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to coordinate effectively with diverse teams.
This role is hybrid Either way Sweden or Denmark. Relocation and visa support is also available.
Experience in these areas is preferred, but the studio values talent and passion above all else.
