As Storm Jocelyn approaches, the country is bracing for more storms.
as Cleaning up continues even after Arashi IshaMet Éireann has issued a status orange wind warning for Donegal, Galway and Mayo from 6pm tonight.
Impacts could include large coastal waves, very difficult driving conditions, downed trees, damaged power lines, and damage to “already weakened structures.”
The rest of the country is subject to various other yellow alerts that will be in effect from noon to 5 p.m.
These can create large waves along the coast, making navigation difficult and displacing loose objects.

Meanwhile, ESB crews are working to restore power in the wake of Storm Isha.
Approximately 167,000 homes and businesses have had power restored, while 68,000 homes remain without power.
The utility said crews continued to work “throughout the night” to restore power to as many customers as possible.
The company warned that some customers may experience power outages for “several days” as operations continue.
ESB Networks said warnings related to Storm Jocelyn “could disrupt recovery efforts in areas already most affected by Storm Isha.”
“It is important that affected customers using electrically powered medical devices contact their medical professionals and make alternative arrangements if necessary,” the ESB said in a statement.
“We apologize for the disruption this has caused to home and commercial life and would like to thank our customers across the country, especially those who are expected to be without power overnight, as our crews work to safely restore power. Thank you for your patience.”
There will be widespread rain today from morning until noon, with scattered showers expected in the evening.
Strong winds will continue for some time tonight, with very strong southwest to west winds weakening overnight.
Tomorrow will continue to be sunny but mainly dry. Showers will be isolated to the west and north.
