The Danish royal family is hugely popular in Greenland, the country’s former colony and now sovereign territory.

Yet, despite their love for Greenland, many of Greenland’s young people are still in love with it, as the nation watches King Frederik take the throne on January 14 following the sudden abdication of his mother, Queen Margrethe. admitted that many young people have mixed feelings.
