The board of Romanian broadcaster TVR will decide today whether to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024.
Romania has been excluded from the initial list of participating broadcasters for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024, which is scheduled to be held in Malmö, Sweden. TVR has so far been unable to approve a budget, even though Eurovision is less than four months away.
The budget for Eurovision 2024 is well over €100,000, so TVR’s board will need to vote to approve the spending. Regarding costs, Mr. Turtulica said:
🇦🇲 Armenia – Eurovision Young Musician 2024 – Applications are now closed
Today is the last day for young musicians between the ages of 12 and 21 to apply to represent Armenia at Eurovision Young Musicians 2024.
The selection process will be held multiple times. The first round determines which performers will be invited to the second round of auditions, where the best participants will be invited to perform on the First Channel. The winner will represent Armenia in Norway in August.
Armenia has previously competed in Eurovision Young Musicians once. In 2012, Armenia was one of her three countries to participate in this competition for the first time. Narek Kazajian played canon in Vienna and took third place in the final.
