Today, Denmark will announce its candidate artists for Eurovision 2024, and in Romania, TVR’s board will decide whether to participate in the competition.

Press ESC! (I want to go to the Eurovision Song Contest!) features 15 new artists led by Austria’s Eurovision 2014 winner Conchita Wurst and singer-songwriter and producer Lea Garvey. Masu. DR today announces the eight artists who will represent Denmark at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024. The eight artists and songs that will participate in Dansk Melody Grand Prix 2024 will be announced at DR Concert to Set.

Dansk Melody Grand Prix 2024 will take place on February 17th at the DR Concerttuset in Copenhagen. The show is hosted by Stephanie Srug and Sarah Bro. A combination of jury and public votes will determine the entry to Malmö, Denmark. Unlike in recent years, the number of judges will increase and will include judges from outside Denmark.

🇷🇸Serbia – Pesma za Evroviziju 2024 – Songs to be released

The 28 songs that will be competing in Pesma za Evroviziju 2024 are scheduled to be released today. The artists and song titles included in the Serbian selection have already been revealed. The 28 participants will be divided into two semi-finals on February 27th and 29th. The final he will be held on March 2nd.

🇷🇴Romania – TVR Board decides to participate in Eurovision 2024

The board of Romanian broadcaster TVR will decide today whether to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024.

Romania has been excluded from the initial list of participating broadcasters for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024, which is scheduled to be held in Malmö, Sweden. TVR has so far been unable to approve a budget, even though Eurovision is less than four months away.

The budget for Eurovision 2024 is well over €100,000, so TVR’s board will need to vote to approve the spending. Regarding costs, Mr. Turtulica said:

Today is the last day for young musicians between the ages of 12 and 21 to apply to represent Armenia at Eurovision Young Musicians 2024.

The selection process will be held multiple times. The first round determines which performers will be invited to the second round of auditions, where the best participants will be invited to perform on the First Channel. The winner will represent Armenia in Norway in August.

Armenia has previously competed in Eurovision Young Musicians once. In 2012, Armenia was one of her three countries to participate in this competition for the first time. Narek Kazajian played canon in Vienna and took third place in the final.
