By the end of this evening, we will know four new songs that will be competing in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024.
Denmark, Estonia, Lithuania and Moldova will hold national finals this evening to select their representatives for May’s competition.

Etapa Nationala 2024, the Moldova national final of the Eurovision Song Contest, is the first national final, starting at 18:00 CET. Auditions were held in January and 11 finalists were selected to perform in the competition on Saturday night.
The order of appearance in the national finals was determined by lottery. Numbers will be drawn individually by the participants or their representatives in the case of competitors who are unable to attend on the spot.

🇪🇪 Estonia – Esti Raul 2024 – 18:30 CET
Thirty minutes later, Estonia will kick off its national Eurovision final, Esti Raul 2024, at 18:30 CET. In the semi-finals, 15 songs were performed, from which he qualified 5 songs to the final. These five songs join her five songs that automatically qualify for the contest.

🇩🇰 Denmark – Melody Grand Prix 2024 – 20:00 CET
Denmark will start the Dansk Melody Grand Prix 2024 at 20:00 Central European Time to find the artists for Eurovision 2024.
The Dansk Melody Grand Prix will be held in two parts this year as well. In the first round, all eight acts will perform, and the public and judges will vote on their performances.

The Lithuanian national final will also begin at 20:00 CET. Eurovizija.LT will decide his 10 songs in the finals for the right to represent the Baltic countries at Eurovision 2024, which will be decided in five heats, ending in the sixth and final week.

🇮🇸 Iceland – Sonvakepnin Semi-finals 1 – 20:45 CET
Sonvakepnin finally begins tonight in Iceland. Unlike previous years, the selection process for the Icelandic representative for the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest will not necessarily involve a national final.
Given the current situation in Israel and Gaza, Icelandic broadcaster RÚV announced on its website that the final decision on participation in Eurovision will be made by the broadcaster in consultation with the winner of Sonvakepnin 2024.
