Tugans tops Northern Ireland M&A rankings for 2023

Mr Tugans has been named Northern Ireland’s most prolific M&A advisor for nine years in a row.

The Belfast-based law firm advised on 50 of the 263 transactions recorded in 2023, according to the latest Experian M&A report.

Overall, volumes in Northern Ireland fell by 12% and total volumes fell by 49% to £442m.

Rounding out the Tugun family’s top five were Arthur Cox who advised on 37 transactions, Carson McDowell with 36, A&L Goodbody with 30 and Davidson McDonnell Solicitors with 27. .

Mills Selig advised on 17 transactions, Turley Legal advised on 13 transactions, Shoesmith advised on 11 transactions, DWF advised on seven transactions and McAllister McAleese advised on six transactions.
