Denmark has agreed to increase military cooperation with the United States, giving the U.S. military greater access to Danish military bases and providing options for permanently stationing troops and equipment.
The agreement, announced by Danish leaders on Tuesday, follows similar agreements the United States has struck with other Nordic NATO allies, Sweden and Finland, both of which were struck in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
