🇧🇪 Belgium: Musti announces contest to let fans hear about his Eurovision appearance early

Musti is running a contest on social media asking fans to submit their entries for Eurovision 2024 ahead of the official release.

The Belgium international is inviting fans to listen to his song early in the run-up to the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest. Mustii wants to know why you should listen to his songs first in the comments of his Instagram post. The winner will be invited to Alaska Studio (Lokeren) with guests on February 16th. The contest will be held until 11:59 CET on February 12th.

With the help of the public, Musti recorded a song that represents Belgium in Malmö. He will ask the public to submit recordings of parts of the songs, from which a choir will be formed. Over 1,000 applications were received.

Musti was internally selected for Malmö’s Belgium squad. He was revealed for the first time as a participant in Eurovision 2024.

Belgium was one of the first seven countries to take part in the first edition of the Eurovision Song Contest in 1956. The country has only ever won the contest once, in 1986. Sandra Kim won the contest with the song “J’aime la vie.” ”. Her victory sparked controversy as it was revealed that Sandra was 13 years old, two years younger than the age limit at the time. In the late 2000s, Belgium failed to reach the finals every year from 2005 to 2010. It was a tough match, but in the final, Tom Dyce finished in 6th place with 143 points. Belgium finished last six times in the tournament, two of which ended in forfeited sets.
