In the first three quarters of 2023, Danish hospital drug purchase spending increased by 2.5% to approximately DKK 6.6 billion ($974.5 million).
This increase is solely due to increased consumption, according to calculations by the Pharmaceutical Industry Association (Lægemiddelindustriforeningen; Lif), based on figures from regional purchasing organization Amgross.
