Investing.com – Danish stocks fell after the close on Wednesday, with sector losses leading the decline in stocks.
It was down 0.05% at the Copenhagen close.
The best performers in the session are: Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:) rose 4.48% or 9.00 points to close at 210.00. Meanwhile, Ørsted AS (CSE:) added 2.71% (9.90 points) to end at 375.30. Yusuke Bank A/S (CSE:) rose 1.77% or 8.40 points to 481.70 in late trading.
The worst performer of the session was AP Moller – Maersk A/SB (CSE:), which fell 4.65% or 595.00 points to close at 12,190.00. AP Moeller – Maersk A/SA (CSE:) fell 4.55% or 570.00 points to end at 11,960.00 and GN Store Nord (CSE:) fell 1.59% or 2.80 points to end at 173.40.
On the Copenhagen Stock Exchange, declining issues outnumbered advancing issues 86 to 67, with 14 stocks ending unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery fell 1.30% ($0.98) to $74.59 per barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent crude oil for March delivery fell 1.01% (0.82%) to $80.03 per barrel, while February gold futures rose 1.07% ($22.05) per troy ounce. It was traded at $2,091.85.
USD/DKK fell by 0.65% to 6.71, while EUR/DKK was unchanged by 0.00% at 7.45.
Dollar index futures fell 0.56% to 100.54.
