Four luxury wedding venues in Kerry have been named in Ireland’s One Fab Day 100 Best Wedding Venues for 2024/2025. Kingdom venues are Ballygaley Estate Hotel in Tralee, Ballyseed Castle in Tralee, Sheen Falls Lodge in Killarney and 10 Bridge Street in Killorglin.
Jessica O’Sullivan, editor of One Fab Day, said there was plenty of choice in Ireland when it came to wedding venues. With thousands of “incredible spaces and properties” to say “I do,” narrowing the list down to just 100 was a challenge.
“It’s very impressive to have so many elite venues in the top 100 in the same county,” Jessica said.
“The majority of couples choose to enjoy long engagements, which gives them more time to research and find the perfect venue, whether it’s a castle, restaurant, gallery or country house hotel. ” she added.
Jessica explained how she received a large number of inquiries about dog-friendly venues in 2023. We’ve added categories so you can see at a glance whether a venue will allow you to bring the furriest member of your family to your wedding.
Additionally, a major wedding survey in 2024 revealed that the average wedding budget in Ireland is between €25,000 and €30,000. Longer contracts are the norm, including 18 months (34 percent), two years (20 percent), and more than two years (19 percent). Small couples are also beautiful, with 70 percent of her guests being less than 150 and 35 percent of her guests being less than 100.
