A “yellow status” wind and rain warning has been issued for several counties in Ireland until Sunday, amid warnings of dangerous travel conditions during the cyclone “Storm Geraldine”, as France’s Metro France has dubbed it. Below is a list of all counties with yellow alerts.

The system, which is currently affecting Ireland and the UK, has been named Storm Geraldine by the French Meteorological Agency.

Yellow status wind and rain warnings have been issued for several counties in Ireland as the country warns of dangerous travel conditions during Storm Geraldine. This cyclone was so named by the French metro service (Meteo-France).

The strongest winds were recorded in the southern part of the country and along the western coast.
